Go for the unexpected - a blue deck! A huge tree right at the front door of this Arlington, Virginia home meant a masonry landing was not an option. We floated a tree-friendly deck over the root system to connect the porch to the front walkway. To add a bit of fun, we painted the deck blue to match the front door.
